• Question: Hey, my question is concerning your research, could if the virus is not killed by the immune system after releasing molecules to kill the tumor cells, any predictable side effects, such as dizzyness or illness ?

Interesting question. The viruses we use will be killed by the immune system. If they’re not and produce a persisant infection then they won’t make it through trials. The side effects associated with this type of therapy are minimal. Similar treatments being tested have resulted in mild-flu like symptoms for a few days (aching, slight temp), but these don’t last long. Compare this with the side effects of chemo (hair loss, long term sickness etc) and it’s much better.
