• Question: what excactly would happen if a black hole was created infront of the earth?

      i shudder to think perhaps we’d get stucked in, u planning something melonhead??!!ur gonna have to ask Ben hes the space whizz!!

      That would be pretty bad news for the earth! We’d be sucked into it, and everything in the earth would be crushed to the size of a pea! I think Ben be better placed to answer though!

      We would spiral inward and the Earth would be torn apart by the difference in gravity from one side to the other. Then the Black Hole would swallow the Earth without as much as a burp.

      Good job that it requires huge masses, over 1.5 times that of the Sun, to create a black hole. The chances of that amount of mass appearing in front of the Earth is pretty much impossible.
