For me I think it’s that I have been affected by cancer (not personally, but close family members), which always gives you more of a drive to achieve. I know how devestating it is so want to be able to offer some hope in the future to others.

It is fun. I get to travel, meet really interesting people, work at interesting places and study the science I enjoy – at the bleeding edge!

What makes me passionate about my work is that it can potentially help save peoples lives. By discovering more about how to motivate and help people stick to their weight loss goals we are learning ways in which to enable people to live happier and healthier lives. Its the potential ability to be able to help someone(even if its only a single person that my research helps) that makes me passionate about my research!

I love my work! What makes me so passionate about it? I think it’s because I think it’s really important to push forward with science, and it feels really good to discover things. I really like doing it, but it’s the ‘x’ factor that I just can’t explain!
